ABSTRACT
This study has been done to assessing this problem and also determining possible impact of landfill leachate on groundwater quality. Water samples have been collected from wells located close to the landfill site in two successive seasons, i.e., winter (Season I) and spring (Season II) of year 2008. Sampling has been done at two seasons to determine whether the season is effect on groundwater contamination or not .The samples have been collected from both the downstream as well as upstream of the landfill. The information will help to identify remedial action and site specific predictions of attenuation performance and leachate generation throughout the landfill center.
