THE TEACHER OPINIONS ABOUT INITIATED APPLICATION NEW PRIMARY PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSON PROGRAM IN 2006-2007 ACADEMIC YEAR

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to identify the physical education teachers opinions about primary physical education teaching program’s aims, acquisitions, instruction-learning process and measurement and evaluation dimensions coming into force in 2006 and first application done the same year in primary schools 6th classes. The research has been implemented using descriptive survey model. Thus, as data collection tool has been composed of questionnaire form consisting of 39 questions to determine primary physical education teaching program’s (6th class) applicability level. The questionnaire has been composed of 4 sub-dimensions (program general and general purposes, acquisitions, instruction-learning process and measurement-evaluation).After calculation of validity and reliability, developed data collection tool has been done on the internet working with e mail method and only physical education teachers’ can become member of bedenegitimiogretmenleri@yahoogroups.com registered address in the form of electronic questionnaire application (October 2007). In evaluation has been taken incoming answers from 47 province total 175 physical education teachers. In the research has been used frequency, percentage and arithmetic mean values to the teacher opinions related to sub-dimensions.In conclusion, physical education teachers’ 6th class physical education teaching program’s applicability level has been determined finding sub-dimensions of ‘general and general purposes’ and ‘acquisitions’ “partially”, sub-dimensions of ‘instruction-learning process’ and ‘measurement-evaluation’ “little”. In the sub-dimensions program’s applicability level’s is no sighting sufficient by the physical education teacher, it can be say effect of the program approach’s for physical education teachers are very new and in this respect they haven’t taken sufficient education both university education and in-service training. Furthermore this situation can grow out of program’s hasn’t been comprehended by the teachers sufficiently.
