ABSTRACT
In the coming years there is a great demand for high speed short range data transmission. With minimal interference there is a technology called UWB, which can be used anywhere, anybody at anytime in the communication applications. The present work involves the design of Ultra wideband antenna which can be operated at specific range of frequencies with light weight, inexpensive and compact portability. A substrate of K15 liquid crystal material is used in this present work with permittivity of 2.85 and loss tangent of 0.01. The proposed antenna has good performance over the entire UWB frequency (3.1 to 10.6GHz).
