In this research work, a worm gear drive is considered with maximization of the power and efficiency and minimization of weight as objective function with design stresses are the constraints. The above problem optimized by immune based new Modified Artificial Immune System algorithm (MAIS) population based an evolutionary algorithm and results are compared with existing design.
