ABSTRACT
Zenith plummets are used mainly in applied geodesy, in civil engineering surveying, for materialization of the local vertical. The error of the vertical deflection of the instrument is directly transferred to the error of the observing construction. That is why a proper calibration procedure for the zenithlot is required. Metrological laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade developed such calibration procedure. Here we present a mathematical model of the calibration and some selected results.
