ABSTRACT
In this work I expose the landscape turn that is taking place in our society withthe recent trend towards an environmental consciousness. An integral view of thelandscape, a key concept required in order to understand the territory that peopleinhabit, is being posited. Likewise, I defend the need not only to rescue but also toupdate the classical category of cultural landscape in Anthropology.
