ABSTRACT
In the less favorable hydrothermal and fattening conditionsof a summer silkworm nursery, the average indicators ofcocoons and silk weight were observed as decreasing by22.0 and 25.0% respectively, in comparison with thefavorable conditions of the spring season. The hybrids(a 'hybrid' pertaining to biology, is an animal or organismthat is the result of the crossingbreedingof two differentspecies or varieties) have been revealed, which are moresuitable to the specific conditions of summer silkwormfattening. We have started tests focused on increasing thesilk productivity of the silkworm by repeated fattening usingnitrogen antiseptic sources.
