ABSTRACT
For a software tool, the target of reaching customer /user satisfaction depends to a large extent on the quality of the software-requirement document. On this premise, the evaluation of software requirement documents specifically software inspection is a valuable tool for detecting defects and improve the software quality. The current work presents an experimental design proposal that compares two techniques for reading software requirement documents. The proposed experimental design is based on the Experimental Software Engineering principles, which only promote the acceptance of conclusions once a series of experimental tests has been done. The experiment was made in academic settings of the Universidad Nacional de San Juan, Argentina, with the participation of undergraduate and graduate students of Computer Science careers.
