ABSTRACT
This study, characterized as descriptive, aimed to compare the levels of agility of ballroom dance practitioners, checking if the levels are different between the sexes and if there is relationship with age. Subjects of the study were 52 students of both genders, between 20 and 69 years, of a private institution of Maringá-PR. As the measuring instrument were the shuttle run test for distance and and the zigzag agility test. For data analysis was used descriptive statistics, test "t" Student and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Through this research, it was observed that males were obtained higher scores than females in both tests and the difference was significant.
