In this paper, we consider several methods for estimating the location and scale parameters of the half-logistic distribution. The estimators considered are the maximum likelihood estimators, the approximate maximum likelihood estimators, method of moment estimators, estimators based on percentiles, least squares estimators, weighted least squares estimators and the estimators based on the linear combinations of order statistics. These estimators are compared via Monte Carlo simulations in terms of their biases and mean square errors.
