ABSTRACT
Neste trabalho comparou-se a evapotranspiração potencial calculada pelos métodos de THORNTHWAITE, CAMARGO, HOLDRIDGE, BLANEY-CRIDDLE, GRASSI-CHRISTIASEN E GARCIA-LOPEZ com dados obtidos em evapotranspirômetro de THORNTHWAITE modificado, modelo EAV-UFG, em Goiânia (Goiás - Brasil) para o município e regiões circunvizinhas. Todos os métodos estudados apresentaram correlação significantes quando comparados com os medidos. Os coeficientes de correlação foram: THORNTHWAITE, r = 0,96, CAMARGO, r = 0,94, HOLDRIDGE, r = 0,94, BLANEY-CRIDDLE, r = 0,91, GRASSI-CHRISTIANSEN, r = 0,70, GARCIA-LOPEZ, r = 0,62. In this paper the author compared the potential evapotranspiration calculated by methods of THORNTHWAITE, CAMARGO, HOLDRIDGE, BLANEY-CRIDDLE, GRASSI-CHRISTIANSEN and GARCIA-LOPEZ, with the direct measurement from the evapotranspirometer of THORNTHWAITE & MATHER, in Goiânia (Goiás-Brazil) and surrounding counties. All the methods studied presented a significant correlation when compared with the measured data. The correlation coefficients were: THORNTHWAITE, r = 0.96, CAMARGO, r = 0.94, HOLDRIDGE, r = 0.94, BLANEY-CRIDDLE, r = 0.91, GRASSI-CHRISTIANSEN, r = 0.70, GARCIA-LOPEZ, r = 0.62.
