This work brings out the different logics of supervised training in teacher performance and, thereby, promotes a rearrangement of capital and experiential explanation of chemical educators. It is on experiential capital where lies the relevance of this study, the possibility of a framework for the necessary reflection on the practice of teacher education in chemistry. With this objective, we interviewed nine scholars from different regions of the country, who act or have acted as mentors of Supervised Internship. Statements of the trainers were recorded in audio and later transcribed. The records were analyzed considering the assumptions of the models of teacher training – technical rationality and practical rationality for forming a technical and reflective teacher.
