ABSTRACT
Feuerbach and Nietzsche are the most important critics of Christianity of the xixth century. Both philosophers think of God as a human creation. However, there are several differences between The essence of Christianity and The antichrist. According to Feuerbach, man acknowledges his own essence through religion. There is a hidden anthropology in Christian religion and the philosophy of the future has to expose it. In Nietzsche’s view, Christian God has been produced by a decadent kind of man. Only destroying Christian heaven, the earth would be able to become a human world.
