ABSTRACT
Heat of combustion for a series of isobutyl phenyl acetonitrile derivatives are calculated using Handrick method. The literature experimental results were compared with theoretical data obtained from Handrick group contribution method. For all six isobutyl phenyl acetonitrile derivatives, calculated and measured heat of combustion differ only ± 0,14 % on average.
