ABSTRACT
An increase of employees role in organization is determinedby the set of changes of activity environment.Restructuring of the country‘s economy, perfection oftechnology, development of information society, changesin structure of organizations, globalization and internationalizationmake organizations change the attitude tothe personnel. An increasing role of employee inside organizationchanges a standing attitude to employee‘straining, motivation, demand satisfaction and forces tolook for the new possibilities to satisfy personnel interests.Modern career formation could be considered ascomplex measures that ensure coordination of interests ofpersonnel and organization. Career integrates a set ofpartial possibilities of personnel interests satisfaction(motivation system, innovative methods of work organization, planning of individual career for all employees inorganization, etc.). Modern organizations supporting amodel of modern career are being formed under the influenceof up-to-date changes. Therefore in order to realizea modern career model effectively we primailly needto research the interests of organization‘s personnel. The performed research showed that employees highlightthe social psychological interests more than materialones. The results of the research proved that the tendenciesof personnel interests in Lithuanian organizationsare close to those of western countries. Judging onresults of the research, appropriate measures of interestssatisfaction should be applied in the enterprises. It shouldbe noted that personnel interests profile formed duringthe investigation can‘t be considered a typical interestsprofile of employees of Lithuania. This requires researchof a wider extent.
