Aim: The objective of the present study is to explore antisteroidogenic and antioxidant properties of herbal oral contraceptive suspension containing methanol extracts of Carica papaya leaves and Capparis aphylla aerial part. Method: The method mainly involves the oral administration of different doses of herbal oral contraceptive suspension (200, 300 and 400mg/kg b.w.) to rats, compared with a control group given with non herbal suspension containing only excipients.
