ABSTRACT
The disordered use and indiscriminate of agrotóxicos, that end for contaminating the soil, water and the man, when this consumes polluted agricultural products, they are still not problematic studied in the north space Mato-grossense. Studies show that agrotóxicos organoclorados stays in activity in the soil for until 30 years after its use. This study was accomplished objectifying to know which are the pesticides used by rural producers in the municipal district of Alta Floresta. The data were picked up through visits to 68 properties of the municipal district. 76 % of these properties use agrotóxicos and 24 % are exempted of pesticides. To the whole they are 101 answers with 23 commercial names of agrotóxicos, applied mainly at that time of the waters. Of the total, 69 % are herbicidas; 29 % of insecticides and 2 % of fungicides, even so, 37 % of the extremely toxicant healthy pesticides, 20 % are highly toxicant, 12 % are toxicant average and 31 % are not very toxicant. The results suggest a growing demand of pesticides use in the municipal district and a concern with relationship to the impacts caused to the environment. They also suggest the need to regulate in a more efficient way the pesticides use in the way municipal district to preserve the ecology.
