ABSTRACT
Oil and gas industry, being complex manufacturing system,is characterized by a number of specific peculiaritiesdistinguishing it from other productive industries. The mostsignificant of these peculiarities characterize oil and gasindustry as complex, multi-staged, dynamic and semistructuredobject and precondition occurrence of differentrisks at corresponding stages of operational lifetime. Initialstage of lifetime of examined industry is geologicalexploration - geological and geophysical surveys andaccuracy and reliability degree of exploration definesreasonability and efficiency of subsequent stages conductionin decisive manner [1]. Therefore, identification, analysis andassessment of risk related to geological and geophysicalsurveys (referred to as geological risks) as well as itsmanagement in order to decrease risk extent to minimallypossible and acceptable becomes extremely important andurgent [2].
