ABSTRACT
This paper presents in detail the analysis and design phases of AOPOA. A methodology for Agent Oriented Programming, based on an organizational approach. This approach allows the design of complex systems by performing iterative and recursive decomposition based in the goal concept, and at the same time identifies interactions between the entities inside the system; In each iteration a new organizational level is developed. During the analysis phase, tasks and roles areidentified. During the design phase, all interactions are characterized and managed through cooperation protocols. In the final iteration, each role is parametrized, this allows the actual specification of events and actions asoociated with each role. These roles then are grouped in meta-agents, which will be instatiated inside the environment in wich the system will work.
