The aim of this paper is to present a model for adaptive virtual courses oriented by goals, personalized according to the own characteristics of each student, in particular the psychopedagogic profile and goals previously fulfilled, expressed in term of educational objectives. The courses generation process is built applying artificial intelligence techniques, specifically provided from the artificial intelligence planning field. Finally, we presented the experimental framework SICAD (Sistema Inteligente de CursosADaptativos), designed applying these concepts and developedusing free software.
