Introduction: Rosacea is one of the chronic inflammatory dermatosis. Lessions are localized on the face and that is quite common cause of great discomfort in patients. Women have this disease more often than men. The aim of the research was to investigate the possible influence of on teenagers' personality.Material and methods: The investigated group consisted of 30 female patients with age ranged from 24 to 76 years, The mean age was 44.6. NEO-FFI was used to show the levels of extraversion, neuroticism, openness to experiences, agreeableness and conscientiousness. Normality of the distribution and Student's t test were used for statistical analysis. Results: On the basis of the NEO-FFI test the authors found that: openness to experiences, conscientiousness and extraversion were increased. The differences in openness to experiences and extraversion were statistically significant. Conclusions: The study showed that patients may have higher levels of openness to experiences, conscientiousness and extraversion because they adjust to the disease and because of the age of the onset of rosacea.
