ABSTRACT
Spinoza is a philosopher who starts off to search for happiness in his philosophy. Therefore, according to him, human being should concentrate his knowledge and feelings in order to attain his happiness and to remove from himself and the community. For this reason, human being should know and love three things: God, universe and human. So, for human being, it is important to know his body and mind at first. Of mind, to understand the concept of eternity by power of intuition, according to Spinoza, the highest effort and the biggest virtue for it. To know things by knowledge of third kind is to comprehend them completely by beginning from knowledge of God. Spinoza’s metaphysics of love bases upon his concept of “mental love of God” which leads human being to happiness. Salvation, happiness and freedom of human being exist in this high love. Therefore, what occupies the mind should be this love of God.
