ABSTRACT
Here in this work the initiative has been taken to project some of the potential anti arthritis phytochemicals by developing a data base of the plant sources across world. The information about 200 plants present in this data base also includes distribution, taxonomy,plant parts which produces anti-arthritis phytochemicals , its constituent and structure along with the suitable references. The data base acts as an all in one resource and offers a common data mining platform for various disciplines of scientific communities. The searches can be carried out in a dynamic and user friendly way. The data base feature provides an advantage to users by saving their time and labour required to search multiple data bases and other related resources. The complete view of information of plants that contains anti arthritis compounds can be obtained. This data base will serve as an extremely useful resource for computational and experimental biologist working in the arthritis related area.The data base is available freely on the website: http://www.mcbi.mitsbiotech.org.in/db/data_search.php.
