ABSTRACT
The article reports to part of a Ph.D. study in progress about space analysis and watermanagement. The knowledgement of the form the Dutch government focus about itssuperficial water resources management will serve as base for comparison with otherrealities regarding this subject. It will be boarded the possible vulnerability of the urbanizedareas of the Dutch territory, by means of the decurrent impacts of climatic changes of thecountry and the decurrent water availability of the same one. The subject evidences thenecessity of multiple organisms (civil society, governmental bodies, academic institutions andthird sector) to line up in favor of attainment adequate solutions where different governmentlevels have shared responsibilities and multi-managed the water resources. The Dutchexample seems to translate it all and, still, to evidence the accurate necessity to act beforethe installation of problems that will affect so basic needs as the fact to drink water of goodquality and to live in safe places.
