ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this paper is to discuss the basicunderstanding of power quality in relation to the distributedgeneration and renewable based distribution generation Due toconsiderable overlap between two technologies, disturbancesaffecting the power quality, which are mainly cause by theaddition of Distributed Generation on the existing power systemnetwork. Injection of the DG into an electric power grid canaffect the voltage quality. Distributed generation of differentvoltage levels when connected to the power system networkcould influence the voltage regulation, sustained interruptions, harmonics, sags, swells, etc. The role of CPDs in enhancing theintegration of renewable and providing quality power throughcustoms power park are described.
