ABSTRACT
Ethanol extract of leaves root, stem, bark, of some Indian medicinal plants afforded quercetin and kaempferol as major flavonoids. The maximum total flavonoids content (0.35 mg/gdw) was found in stem of Balanites aegyptica and minimum (0.15mg/gdw) in stem of Eclipta alba.
