ABSTRACT
This article describes how and when there arose the Casa de Recogidas of Guadalajara in the New Galicia from 1745 to 1873, specifies his creation, his structure and functioning, the particularities of the warehouses and how it was his decline. With base in the knowledge of the internal structure of La Casa argue that the protection measures were sustaining the dynamics of the mechanisms of oppression. Also, from the institutional discourse shows a social female control in the colony.
