ABSTRACT
Autoimmune polyglandular syndrome (APS) is a broad spectrum of various autoimmune endocrinopathies and may show similarities with other endocrine or non-endocrine autoimmune diseases. APS-2, also known as Schmidt's syndrome, is characterized by diabetes mellitus type 1, hypothyroidism and Addison's Disease.
