ABSTRACT
The Mures Waterside Natural Park is one of several newly created large protected areas in Romania. It has a surface area of approximately 17.200 ha and includes the dammed area of the Mures river with an ecological support for biodiversity protection. The goals of research were the local diversity of species as well as the identification of species that are sensitive to the influences of stationary factors.
