ABSTRACT
Searching contribute with the studies about climatic change of short term, in local scale, was analysed the variability and tendecy of the annual and monthly rainfall, in Bebedouro (SP) borough, in years between 1983 – 2003. In this way, were used the calculation of gauge deviation and coefficient of variation in the analyses of variability, and to tendency was used the calculation of the linear return based in minimum square method. The results showed a clear reduction in the values during the second half of the period analysed (1993 – 2003) besid at first (1983 – 1992), as for annual values as for monthly values. The variability of rainfall showed ample meaning, as in annual scale as for all the months, with the more height values during the winter. Thus, the winter is the period of most variation in the behaviour of the rainfall, in the Bebedouro (SP) borough.
