ABSTRACT
This article describes the current status of Russian media space and the position of the Internet. Significant attention is attached to the consideration of social networks as a field of multilateral and free communication in the Internet. To understand the communication trends, the work examines the percentage of various types of information (text, images, video recordings, audio recordings) in social networks.
